Maintaining a large fleet of vehicles including transit vans, 7.5 tonne lorries, 12 tonne lorries, 18 tonne lorries and 44 tonne articulated lorries, we are ideal for all distribution and movement of goods. All of our staff are smart, uniformed and polite. We maintain annual driver and staff training programmes so we continue to be at the forefront of the industry. Running a number of heavy goods vehicles W J Wooster & Sons Ltd have a great concern on fuel emissions and noise pollution. We are always looking at ways of reducing our company’s CO2 footprint, and the noise pollution that comes with operating large vehicles. All of our vehicles are fitted with exhaust and break silencers and our exhaust systems are fitted with specialist filters that minimise emissions and are Euro 4 compliant. We also work closely with London Councils and are members of the London Lorry Scheme which looks closely at routes and times of travel. Our drivers are trained on methods of driving using Department for Transport freight best practice on fuel efficiency which also greatly cut down fuel emissions. W J Wooster & Sons Ltd also hold a waste licence that enable us to carry various waste produce for disposal to the proper and correct waste disposal sites.
